The Zed

Checked out Z-Trip last night. Alongside Mc Supernatural. Zed was most impressive and I had a ball. Supernatural however almost had me packing within 2 minutes. I waited and he eventually actually started pulling some 'freestyle' rhymes that weren't part of a rehearsed set. Then back in to the Zed again. By which time the crowd had mostly dissapated into leaving and still drinking groups. I was a member of both... Evetually departed, hit town briefly and returned home for rest.

Tonight I'm Dj'n at Red Gecko. 3am till close. Even after all these years the late sets really take their toll and tend to ruin the following day. I really am hoping there are some decent numbers out tonight.

In car related news, I'm starting to think that my 'pinging' maybe infact the Cat suffering under higher pressure.. Will get under and hit with metal object and listen for tell tale sounds tommorrow when I eventually arise.

Pack and Go

Moving/Relocating seems to be the flavour at the moment. Steve has 2 weeks left before he is off to the Gold Coast. I'm packing my warehouse into 2 two containers. I'm also looking at one of two places to move myself.

Choice:
1 - House + friend.
2 - Granny Flat, me.

Both have Pros/Cons but I'm the most indecisive person in the world..

Tiiiired

I'm rotten tired. Huge day yesterday. Started off with work in the morning then into event preperation, then to the venue at 5pm got home at 4:30am. Quickly died there after.

It was great to get back into running a big event. I totally forgot how much there is to do all night long. It wasn't untill about 2:30 I really got to actually sit back and listen to some music without constantly running around.

I also got to hang out with a couple of the DJs that started me on this ridiculous path so many years ago. One my long time mate Archie. The other Dj Brisk from the UK, whom I'd never thought I'd meet let alone sit back and have a beer with and a chat. All very cool.
