What is a rematch.

Please take note - Drinks may have been drunk.

Here is the gripe. When in one season twon teams play each other for the grand final. Then in the next season, 5 rounds into the prelimanry rounds the same two teams play each other again (surprisngly enough this happens) it is named the 'Grand Final rematch'.

NO ITS FUCKING NOT. Neither team is running the same players. It is a different season. It is not the Grand Final.

It is the lead up games to the semi's. Nothing more.

Mindfull I am that the Cowboys are a brilliant team. The only team 4 from 4 rounds. But it is not a 'rematch'.

Regardless, it is great to see a good game, despite people like Clarke rubbishing the game with zealous penalties. Let the game go, let it take it's own path. A fair bad play or high tackle, then yes. Call it. Don't call every minor infraction. I was worried early on. I believed Clarke was wearing BLUE socks again. But no. He is just calling everything. As i mentioned, rather over zealously.

Let us see where this lands.

Overlord

F*ck me sideways 'Working For The Man' can be bloody tiresome. Long hours, extremely irritating people. The list goes on.

There's always that big pipe dream that I'm going to find something I like doing or am capable of producing on my own and start my own business. But everywhere you look all you see is franchises and multi-nationals swallowing up all that lives and breathes. This is rather ironic as I currently work for a said 'multi-national'. However I really can not beat my conditions. Especially in comparison to working contract like I had for many many years prior. How the freakin bejesus does one win at this game?

Restructure

I suppose it is inevitable when you change your living circumstances. Little things like only having a fridge that couldn't even hold a case of beer.

It can be a bit odd not having a drawer for something so simple as cutlery. So you begin looking at things from a different perspective. Is it that bloody important I have a drawer entirely dedicated to cutlery? What other options do I have? And so is what I'm dealing with every day. It really is interesting, coming across all these little things that you've never really thought about before. My situation has a lot to do with trying to compress and re-evaluate what is needed and how to possibly store all these things in such a smaller area of space.

I can see myself shopping quite some more at my local 'storage' shops looking for some actual innovative ideas that suit my situation.

On the other hand, I very much need to get what I want done to the Calais before I head north. Things like tinted windows. Some might say not so important, but it is not something I want to be without driving interstate. I am some what lucky that if I don't get it done at least it is not summer at the moment. I've been searching everywhere for some decent looking wheels as well and all I can come up with is more bloody Holden wheels. There has to be some actually nice alloys that aren't going to cost the earth and look the goods. I am also going to have to put some time into costing some re-fit on the suspension. On the highway it really is quite a cruisy car (not exactly surprising given it is a Calais) but around town it really is a bit too sloshy. So here we are looking for that perfect medium ground. Maintain that comfort factor for the long drives, but gain more 'feel' and less 'mush' for the vast majority of my daily driving. I think this is where a good set of tyres will fit in. Slighty harder springs and some new shocks will give it quite a freshen up, from there avoiding rubber band profile tyres should keep my highway ride quite reasonable.

I would go so far as to check out places like Just Commodores. But that would be about as beneficial as asking a six year old. Infact there is quite a chance that the six year old would have a far better chance of writing something that didn't look like 'How MuCh F457eR w1ll mai C0mm0D0rE do H3kT1k Sk1d5 iF 1 Ge7 a S74gE 3 Sh1F7 k17?'. I won't pretend I'm driving something capable of handling fantasticly on the circuit. Its a Commodore with more weight, but I'm sure there is room for improvement with out breaking the bank.

The waiting game.

I've been pottering around my old house now for over 90 minutes waiting for NRMA to show up and jump my car.

Using my elite skills, I managed to leave the radio and fan on in the car whilst cleaning it today. Resulting in aforementioned 'pottering'.

Effective time use or what?

I finally have a fridge again hooray. My new flat doesn't look like it has been hit by a hurricane. And generally I'm quite the happy chap at the moment.

I wish I really had something to rant about.
