Plugs and Leads

Hangover aside, I set about some routine maitenance today on my baby.

Which just made me realise.. I don't think I've named her yet.

I'm no stranger to the normal routines required to keep cars on the go (despite my horrid luck with cars - as my father has explained to me.. It's all in the genes aparently). I however have never had a 304 to play with before. Could it be possible to put things like the dizzy in a more obnoxious place? Or perhaps put the ABS controller right infront of a spark plug? Better yet, No.7 should be placed where you can't use a small extension on your ratchet spanner, but by having no extension all you achieve is removing skin from your hands.

Now for the rest of the weekend.

News?

I've been forced (a mild over exaggeration) to watch quite a bit of tennis lately.
I'm still not a fan, but can certainly appreciate the skill at Grand Slam level. 215km/h serves are nothing to sneeze at by any stretch of the imagination.

I visited my house again today briefly which was infact very brief. Grab shit and run sort of visit. So the big news is I'm very seriously looking at re-locating. Once the GSR is gone, my ball and chain are no longer. There are a few options I am looking at, but plenty of thought needs to go into it all. I certainly would enjoy living closer to a decent pub/town/friends/work. My current work run of a morning is a breeze. Afternoons make me want to kill people.

It was overly quiet at work today. Stick a public holiday on a Thursday and just about half of Canberra takes a 4 day weekend.

Any how, I'm off to go make some noise (DJ type things). So all the best to me.

Huzzah!

Cars.

Well the RX4 is sold. One less car in the back yard. Awesome.
Next is the GSR. Hoping today to find time to show to a mate who is interested.
Why though did he have to choose Australia Day. The day so chocked full of BBQ invitations that it is entirely impossible to achieve all. Especially when I am well over the other side of town from her.

I must plan a cunning route via BBQs to achieve this ultimate goal of selling her.

I'm also being heavily harassed to do something I haven't done in years. I am quite seriously looking at my options and how this will all work out. I know it is going to be a great big friggin mess. Just a matter of making it all roll out easily.

More news at 7.

Flat Chatter

Busy busy busy.

Having a ball, despite not having lived in my own house in over a week. The head has recovered plenty too.

I know I had some things to share, but my mind is a total blank after having played tennis not long ago. Very happy with how well I lasted. My tennis skills improved quite well over the hour+ we played which also made me reasonably happy. Especially given how long it has been since I picked up a tennis racket.

I Have a Sydney trip next week which I would rather pretend is not going to happen. Entire day in a dark room watching powerpoint presentations. My idea of fun.. not. I'm sure I am going to learn 'lots'. Corporate schmoozing.

One day this century I am sure I'll get home.

Word to the wise.
